The goalie has a protected crease, and when he ventures out to handle the puck he should be checked just like the other skaters. This "rule" is a total farse. No way should any sport implement rules that attack the strength or talent of a particular athlete just because others are not as able. If a net-minder happens to be a great puck-handler why take that away from him? Completely unfair. I mean seriously is baseball going to create a rule that makes it illegal to throw a fastball if it is clocked at over 100 mph?
