At Inkling, I am responsible for developing client websites. Designs are provided in Figma, and development is completed in a variety of different platforms depending on client needs. Many sites are built using Webflow, but I have also worked on Shopify sites. I also act as a resource for a variety of Google Analytics needs - initial setup, event tracking, etc.

At SpotCo, my main responsibility is developing fully responsive websites based on Photoshop mockups. In addition to site builds, I take care of a lot of maintenance and client-requested updates for sites. I am responsible for building HTML emails, and occasionally HTML5 video banner ads. I also work on developing various Javascript widgets for use across sites, and maintaining site templates for all developers to use as a framework for new builds.

 

In 2019, I volunteered to be the developer contact for all Google Analytics and event tracking questions throughout the agency. I also joined an internal task force focused on highlighting success stories within our agency digital department by sending out monthly newsletters. The task force also hopes to educate all agency employees on digital trends and best practices to make communication easier.

Lead Developer - Silverback Strategies

December 2020 - June 2021

 

At Silverback Strategies, I was responsible for all things website-related for the agency's wide variety of clients. I performed regular website maintenance for all sites (mostly on WordPress or Shopify) and provided reports to clients on all site upkeep. I managed a small team of freelancers that assisted with certain site projects and ensured all deadlines were met. I also helped with the development of the company's new website (launched February 2021).

 
Web Developer - Emerald Expositions

March 2012 - May 2014

 

This company was formerly known as Nielsen Expositions. My responsibilities at this position included developing fully responsive websites based on Photoshop mockups, developing Wordpress themes for all client blogs, and performing regular maintenance on all sites and blogs (~15) as needed (updates, backups, etc).

 

 

Web Developer - LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell

June 2009 - March 2012

 

From June 2009 - August 2010, I was a member of the web updates team. I was responsible for handling a wide variety of website update requests from clients, including copy changes, image replacement, form implementation, dropdown menu implementation, addition of videos, site structure changes, RSS/Martindale-Hubbell newsletter implementation, etc.


From August 2010 until I left the company in March 2012, I was a member of the site build team. In this position, I was responsible for building fully-functional client websites from provided site designs. I was also responsible for all quality assurance-related updates and client-requested fixes that were needed in order to launch sites in a timely manner. I collaborated closely with a team of project managers and designers to meet monthly site launch goals.

My responsibilities as Junior Art Director included creating animated banner ads and other media in Flash, designing website templates and HTML emails, and contributing to the development of Flash applications using ActionScript 2.0
